Football player of 12 years, along with 3 years as a sprinter and 1 year powerlifting.
I began competing in sports at a young age. Football was my first sport, but after falling sick multiple times throughout early high school, including being diagnosed with diabetes, I decided to begin a new journey in more individual sports. I fell in love with wrestling as soon as I stepped on the mat. I used all of my athleticism and knowledge from years of football, along with the help of my head wrestling coach Wesley Moore, to create a custom-tailored control-based wrestling style that I still use and teach to this day. Unfortunately, my wrestling career was cut short by injury. Now, my focus has turned to teaching my wrestling and pursuing my newest goal, MMA.
A large factor that turned me into who I am today is my struggle with medical issues. After I was diagnosed with diabetes, everyone assumed I would no longer chase my goals as an athlete. Every day I set out with a mission to prove that the only limit you have is yourself.
My passion and motivation for teaching is to serve people who are willing to work for what they want. I want to instill confidence and strength not only through my wrestling system but also through the way I engage and interact with my athletes. Being a great wrestler requires determination, aggression, creativity, and patience. I want to know my wrestler's strengths and weaknesses so I can help mold them into the best athlete they can be.
